Chadwicks Reveals Newly Revamped Limerick Branch
Monday, 9th March 2026: Chadwicks, Ireland’s leading builders’ merchant, has announced the relaunch of its Limerick branch following a complete refurbishment. Local colleagues John Keating and Michael O’Malley had the honour of cutting the ribbon at the official store reopening. John has completed 46 years while Michael has spent 42 years as part of the team at Chadwicks Limerick, a testament to the strength and loyalty of the local team.
The Limerick refurbishment is part of Chadwicks’ ongoing nationwide branch upgrade programme, which began in 2018 and has seen 34 out of 38 branches revamped to date.
Chadwicks Limerick is located on Ballysimon Road and has been serving the needs of the local community for 48 years. While the branch has been upgraded with a new look and feel, customers can expect the same level of service and dedication they have come to know from the 42-strong team of highly trained specialists at Chadwicks Limerick.
The branch team is excited to reveal the new look and feel to local customers, and to mark the occasion, Chadwicks Limerick will be running a series of special offers until 31st March, including the Makita DJ180Z LI-ION Jigsaw 18V (Body Only) (€99), Makita DTD152Z Impact Driver 18V LXT (Body Only) (€99) and Powerplane 3G18V Laser Level (€419).
Chadwicks’ first ever one-stop-shop for building needs
Chadwicks Limerick is now home to a new Build Centre, unique to the branch. The Centre brings together The Panelling Centre, the go-to destination for kitchen and wardrobe solutions, Sitetech, providing concrete and brickwork accessories, and Proline, stocking architectural hardware including door handles, cabinet hardware, hinges, locks and more. Whether customers are seeking storage solutions, or specialist brickwork accessories, the Limerick branch offers a comprehensive range, complemented by an expert consultation service for projects of all sizes.
Designed for the customer
The new branch has been fully redesigned with the customer in mind, providing tradespeople, DIY enthusiasts and the wider local community with all the tools, products and expertise they need to get the job done.
Chadwicks Limerick is now fully equipped with Sam Hire, Heiton Steel, Baumit, a Paint Centre and even a new key cutting service. A new state of the art bathroom, doors, and floors showroom completes the branch, as well as an Adman Shed display of the latest sheds, greenhouses and garden rooms, just in time for spring!
Among the 2,000 new product lines are Geberit Aquaclean Alba shower toilets, Quooker boiling water taps, Dewalt hand tools, Roughneck demolition tools and PVC bathroom and paneling tiles.
Advanced home security solutions
As part of the refurbishment, customers can also explore a new Smart Home display, which showcases a range of advanced smart home security solutions. This display features products that provide 24/7 monitoring and full control of door locks, doorbells, and outdoor lighting through the easy-to-use Yale Home App.
